Detective Song Donglu (Lau Ching Wan) finds himself pursuing the beguiling Fu Yuan (Jiang Yiyan) once again after she makes an ingenuous prison escape. Just as he's about to arrest her on the street, a man falls to his death from a nearby building and Fu Yuan slips away in that moment of distraction. There is, however, much more to the story. Fu Yuan had deliberately brought Donglu to the scene to witness the man's fall, but why? And is his death a suicide or murder? Donglu, along with his new assistant (Jacqueline Li, Personal Tailor), sets out to get to the bottom of the mystery that is far more complex and sinister than meets the eye.
