"Po" (Danny Chan) and "Paul" (Paul Chung) are sibling from a rich family with different personalities. "Po" is a young man of introverted and melancholy, he's so dedicated to music. His younger brother, "Paul" is active, smart with a gifted quick and sharp tongue, who has gained all the love from his parent. Their best friend, "Wing" (Leslie Cheung) comes from a poor family and he's been concealing about his family background from his friends. He often dreams of getting rich in the future. They are about to take the graduation examination shortly. "Po" is planning to study abroad majoring in music but his dad rejected his idea and they are having severe conflict for that. "Po" decided to earn for his own living and tuition fee. On the other hand, "Wing" works in a hotel and there he met Mabel, a gorgeous mistress of a triad leader. He fell for her but getting himself into serious trouble...... Three young men are on the edge of puzzled year and losing the direction of their future, will the way ahead be a broad, bright road or a way full of thistles and thorns? !
