Zhengzheng (Liang Jing) travels miles with her child to arrive in the global manufacturing city of Dongguan to look for a job and her husband. Alone and penniless, life is tough for Zhengzheng and with her special-need child she only finds the road longer and more winding. Torn between a better life and her child, she chooses to walk away from what she thinks may be a hindrance to her happiness. Life proves her right but soon she realizes something important is missing. The film won the Award for Humane Care at the 19th Beijing Student Film Festival and the Best New Director award at the 7th Chinese American Film Festival.
