Influenced by renowned Taiwan auteur Hou Hsiao Hsien, Hui makes a deliberately paced and visually engaging mood piece set against the backdrop of Hong Kong in 2007, the 10th anniversary of its reunification with China. The film follows a man (Terence Yin) suffering from a rare case of amnesia as he attempts to make sense of his present by piecing together his past out of the often conflicting accounts from his family and friends. A stylized tale of self-discovery and redemption, Fog co-stars Eugenia Yuan (The Eye 2), 24Herbs' Phat Chan (Dream Home), TVB actress Camy Ting, and indie darling Joman Chiang (Butterfly).
